For the first time, Beirut is hosting the third edition of Photomed Festival, a photography exhibition featuring artists from the Mediterranean countries, an occasion to discover some hidden talents or rediscover great masters. You can start your visit from Saifi village’s art galleries down to Beirut souks to meet the beautiful work of lebanese and foreign photographers.
Here’s a glance at some of the works I liked most.
Meet Romy Schneider,Yves Montand, Salvador Allende in Costa-Gavras unseen warm portraits,
Reconnect through Fouad El Khoury with the old Lebanon, hard, contradictory and poetic images of a devasted country,
And smile to Dizzie! (Tony Hage photography)
Discover new young lebanese talents at Ex-Maqam gallery (Saifi Village)
Wonder with award-winning photographer Tania Traboulsi,
And most of all, dream on with the beautiful poetic photos of Lara Zankoul!
Photomed is staying until February 16. You should definitely pass by!
